So Sylar and I were in a photoshoot with all these lovely people on Sunday morning of Anime Expo!

It was really fabulous to meet everyone and to take pictures with the whole Korra Krew! We’ll be posting some of those photos soon, with credit given to all the cosplayers and more soon!

Tenzin/Korra Relationship.

Believe me I’d be happy to find another airbending master, but you’re the only one. We’re stuck with each other. 

This is the best solidified relationship on the show. Korra’s impulsiveness clashes with Tenzin’s “patient” nature. I love how they have this Master/Student and Father/Daughter relationship going on. Aang taught airbending to Tenzin, then he had to teach Korra, the reincarnation of Aang, airbending. What came so natural to Aang was hard to Korra since she had a spiritual block, and yet Tenzin has always been patient. Their scenes together are brilliant, you could really see the development. Tenzin easily trusts Korra (believing of Amon’s power and Hiroshi being part of the equalists), he was the only one who saw how scared she was of Amon when no one did, It’s amazing that sometimes even if Tenzin disagrees with Korra’s actions (Joining the Pro-Bending Team and Facing Amon alone) he still lets her make her own decisions. He’s always there for her when she needs help (Talk about her fears, Save her from falling because of the mechs, and Help get her friends out of jail) Korra also looks up to Tenzin as a great father figure, which is beautiful since Aang was Tenzin’s father. In the end, he is proud of her achievements as the Avatar.

Oh, and Katara and Aang did a phenomenal job raising their son.

Just saying.
